The two Bryony Villas are beautifully presented, spacious and privately owned, located in the Turkish Turquoise Coast region 5 minutes walk from Hisaronu and 2 minutes by the Dolmus bus from Oludeniz. The accommodation sleeps 8-10 and is ideally suited to groups or large families.

They have a duplex design. On the lower level there is a large open plan kitchen and lounge/dining area with patio doors leading to the pool and terraced gardens. On the upper level there are four double bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. The property is fully air conditioned. Ample private parking space is available.

Facilities include a fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer dish washer and washing machine, satelite TV, DVD player, and stereo system. The property is fully maintained and a weekly maid service is provided. Linen and towels are inclusive. The British property owner lives close by and is always available in the unlikely event that you should experience a problem or if you need any advice or assistance throughout your holiday.

The Villas have extensive well established gardens with shaded areas or sun throughout the day. The private pool is fully maintained. The gardens have terraced patios with sun loungers and comfortable seating, and there is a an eating area with a barbeque if you prefer your meals alfresco. To cool you off when the hot sun has done its work we have installed a pool shower.

Oludeniz or Olu Deniz is the most often seen turkish beach pictured in travel agents' brochures. And with good reason. From April to September there is practically no rain or clouds, and the sun shines unhindered from dawn to dusk. The gem of Oludeniz has to be the Blue Lagoon, shown on the photo to the right. This picturesque area of water is practically
cut off from the sea except for a narrow channel.

As a result the water here is calm with almost no waves. The still,
crystal-clear water becomes lukewarm in the hot summer sun. And with a gently sloping, sandy beach Oludeniz Lagoon is ideal for children to play and swim in. In fact water evaporates in the hot sun and there is not much recirculation of water into the sea. This has increased the concentration of salt in the water making it very buoyant. Hence the name Olu deniz meaning "Dead Sea".

The lagoon at Oludeniz is in a National Park area and you pay a small fee to enter. It is an ideal place for relaxing, swimming, and for a variety of water sports and it is a very safe place for children.

The main beach at Oludeniz is Belcekiz or Belcegiz beach. This runs along by the sea through the bay to the lagoon. The surf here can be quite strong and the beach is a little pebbly in places. The beaches at Oludeniz are very busy in the summer, but you can usually find a free spot. In high summer you need to wear some sandals, for the sand gets very hot and can burn bare feet.

The centre of town is almost entirely modern - including the modern Didiyma Shopping Mall, with a pedestrianised seafront, but there is an older and more interesting area, with a few fishing boats, on the west side. Antalya As the main city on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, Antalya has attracted visitors for centuries. Hisaronu It sounds weird to build a resort 3 miles from the beach but the once sleepy mountain village of Hisaronu is just that, and it works wonderfully. Created from next to nothing in the 1980s and 90s, Hisaronu is an attractive, thoughtfully planned, fairly compact resort centred on a partially pedestrianised main shopping street packed with restaurants, bars and shops selling jewellery, clothing, footwear, water-sports gear, as well as local products such as sweets, spices, glassware and textiles. Icmeler Originally a purpose-built extension of Marmaris, Içmeler is now considered a resort in its own right thanks to considerable and very rapid development. Health: Twenty cases of bird flu have been reported in northern, eastern and central Turkey, but there is no evidence of the virus passing between humans; the four people who died had close contact with poultry.
